  • Thomas Ryan
    Chief Research Officer / Owner

    Tom brings over 25 years' experience in executive management, strategic consulting, and technology development and management. As CIO at Echostar Communications in the late ‘90s, Tom oversaw the technology and operational infrastructure’s rapid expansion as the new business grew from launch to over $2B in three years. As a Director with KPMG Consulting (now Bearing Point), he consulted with G100 financial services organizations on technology and business strategies, specializing in Information Flow Dynamics and CRM. Tom served as SageCircle COO and CEO before co-founding ASG. Tom’s business and technology architecture background is the basis for many of ASG’s process models and tools, including ASG’s highly acclaimed analyst opinion measurement and analysis process. Tom is the lead strategist for many of ASG’s research, measurement, and program planning projects.

  • Rob Kolokousis
    Vice President Sales / Owner

    Rob brings over 20 years' experience in high technology sales management, consulting, and client relationship management; 13 of those years directly in Analyst Relations. His work in AR began in 1995 at Gartner Group where he worked directly with major F100 technology vendors. In 2001, along with Carter Lusher, Rob founded the original SageCircle. Rob served as VP Sales/Client Operations and as an Associate Strategist advising clients on negotiation strategies for working with analyst firms and helping AR organizations build the bridge to the sales organization. Rob brings his deep industry knowledge to ASG as both an Associate Strategist and a major vendor Account Executive. Rob’s strategist focus at ASG is in analyst ranking/tiering, AR-Sales program building, and helping AR programs develop tools to support and enable the sales organization to close more business.

    Our research staff is comprised of dedicated professionals with an average of five years' experience monitoring, reviewing, and assessing research published by the analyst community. The team conducts weekly review sessions to maintain consistency in prominence and tonality tagging, and message incidence tracking. The entire team contributes during monthly sessions to review updated customer requirements, discuss and identify emerging market trends that our clients should be made aware of, and continuously implement process refinements to ensure ASG delivers the highest quality, economically produced solutions for our valued clients.

Analyst Strategy Group, LLC. was founded in 2003 to address the growing need for AR organizations to establish integrated and measurable AR programs. Our sole concentration is Analyst Relations.
